Walgreens Boots: expects to benefit from tax reform

(CercleFinance.com) - In a document sent to the SEC on Monday Walgreens Boots Alliance said that it expects the US tax reform to have a positive impact on its adjusted EPS of between 30 cents to 35 cents, for its fiscal year ending August 2018.


Based on the information currently available and the drugstore chain's current assumptions, through the new legislation it expects to obtain a cash tax benefit of over 200 million dollars over fiscal year 2017-18.

Walgreens Boots will continue to work to provide a more comprehensive assessment of the total potential impact of the recently enacted law, and intends to provide new updates on this matter in the future, it continued.
