Verizon: raises EPS target

(CercleFinance.com) - Thanks to a strong start to the year, Verizon says it is now aiming for low-single-digit growth in its adjusted EPS in 2019, while it was previously expecting EPS to be similar to its level in 2018.


The telecommunications operator reported Q1 adjusted EPS of 1.20 dollar, up nearly 3% y-o-y, exceeding the consensus by three cents.

The group posted an adjusted EBITDA margin of 37.2% for operating
revenues that are up 1.1% at 32.1 billion dollars, mainly supported by
solid growth in mobile services.
