UnitedHealth: raises FY 2018 EPS target

(CercleFinance.com) - After better-than-expected Q1 2018 results, UnitedHealth has raised its adjusted EPS target for 2018 from 12.
40 dollars to 12.65 dollars.

The US health insurance and services giant posted adjusted EPS of 3.04 in the first three months of 2018, up 28.3% y-o-y, and 13 cents above the consensus.

UnitedHealth's operating income increased by 18.8% to 4.1 billion dollars, with double-digit growth in each business, on revenue that is up 13.3% to 55.2 billion dollars.
