United Technologies: raises target EPS range

(CercleFinance.com) - United Technologies declares that it is now looking for 2019 adjusted EPS of between 8.
05 dollars and 8.15 dollars, against 7.90 dollars to 8.05 dollars previously, for sales which it still expects to rise by 4% to 5% in organic terms.

In Q3, the manufacturer of - amongst other things - Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines and Otis lifts achieved adjusted EPS that is up 15% at 2.21 dollars, fifteen cents above the consensus.

The industrial conglomerate posted revenue that is up 18% at 19.5 billion dollars, including organic growth of 5%. As a reminder, it is in the process of merging with the Raytheon Defense Group and splitting its Otis and Carrier businesses.
