United Technologies: EPS significantly above expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - United Technologies has reported Q4 2018 adjusted EPS that is up 22% at 1.
95 dollar, well above the consensus of just 1.53 dollar.

The manufacturer of Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines and Otis elevators, among other things, posted revenues that are up 15% at 18 billion dollars, including organic growth of 11% and a consolidation scope effect of 4%.

With adjusted EPS that are up 14% at 7.61 dollars and revenue that are up 11% at 66.5 billion dollars over FY 2018, the group now targets 2019 target ranges of 7.70-8.00 dollars and 75.5 billion-77 billion dollars respectively.
