United Technologies: raises annual targets

(CercleFinance.com) - During its trading update, United Technologies raised its FY 2018 targets, now expecting EPS of 7.
20-7.30 dollars, with revenues of 64 billion-64.5 billion dollars, against 7.10-7.25 dollars and 63.5 billion dollars - 64.5 billion dollars previously.

Over the past quarter, the maker of Pratt & Whitney aircraft engines and Otis elevators reported adjusted EPS that is up 12% to 1.93 dollar on revenues that are up 10% at 16.5 billion dollars, with organic growth of 8%.

"The acquisition of Rockwell Collins, once complete, will further strengthen our position as a premier systems supplier to the aerospace industry," said Gregory Hayes, the conglomerate's Chairman and CEO.
