UPS: strengthens connections between Europe and China

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday UPS announced the launch of a new full container service between Europe and China that builds on UPS' existing rail service and is aimed at companies trading between both these regions.


This two-way service between Duisburg (Germany) and Hong Kong is an alternative means of transport that helps businesses find a balance between speed and budget, the group said.

Thanks to this service, they benefit from a 30% improvement in delivery times compared with sea freight in containers and make savings of up to 60% relative to air freight, it added.
