Tyson Foods: Q4 EPS drops 29%
(CercleFinance.com) - Tyson Foods has reported adjusted EPS of 1.
63 dollar and adjusted operating profit of 823 million dollars for Q4 2021-22 (ended 1 October), both down 29% y-o-y.
However, at over 13.7 billion dollars, the meat group's revenues rose 7.2%, driven by price increases of 5.1% and volume growth of 2.1%.
The group said that its productivity program, designed to generate over 1 billion dollars in annual recurring savings by end-2024, is ahead of schedule and is now expected to be completed by the end of FY 2022-23.
