3M: announces new 10 billion dollar share buyback

(CercleFinance.com) - 3M said late on Tuesday its board of directors authorised a share repurchase program of up to 10 billion dollars, replacing the company's existing program.


The share buyback program has no pre-set closing date, the maker of Scotch tape and Post-it notes said.

3M also announced a dividend of 1.36 dollar per share for the fourth quarter, payable on 12 December to shareholders on record at the close of business on 23 November.
