Tesla: Hertz confirms huge order of 100,000 vehicles

(CercleFinance.com) - After rising 8% last week, the Tesla stock continued its run on Monday on the New York Stock Exchange, increasing over 6%, with a mega-order of 100,000 electric vehicles from the US car rental company Hertz.


The car rental specialist - which wants to electrify its fleet - explains that it has decided to acquire Model 3 sedans, aiming to offer them to its clients in the US and Europe from November.

Deliveries will be made through to the end of 2022.

With this order, electric vehicles will now represent over 20% of its fleet.
Both shares are up about 5% in early trading on Monday.
