Tesla: price target raised to 775 dollars by Jefferies

(CercleFinance.com) - Jefferies analysts raised their target price for Tesla shares from 650 dollars to 775 dollars on Tuesday.


The broker - which has a "hold" rating on the stock - said that it has raised its earnings forecasts for the electric car maker ahead of the fourth-quarter results on 27 January

"Tesla continues, in our view, to lead industry change in terms of technology
and business model,", Jefferies said in a note to clients.

However, the broker warned that improved access to capital may turn Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers into more significant challengers than traditional legacy carmakers.
