Starbucks: Q1 adjusted EPS above consensus

61 dollar, above the consensus.

Consolidated sales of 6.7 billion dollars were down 5% y-o-y, primarily due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with a 19% decline in transactions, which was partially offset by a 17% increase in the average ticket.

The company opened 278 new outlets in the first quarter of fiscal 2021, generating 4% year-over-year unit growth and ending the period with 32,938 outlets worldwide, of which 51% are company-operated and 49% are licensed.
