Snap: signs partnership deal with Formula 1.
(CercleFinance.com) - Formula 1 said that it has signed a new global partnership with Snap to cover its upcoming Grand Prix races on the social media company's editorial platform Discover.
The deal marks Formula 1's first commercial collaboration with a major digital and mobile-first platform, and will officially kick-off this weekend.
On Sunday, the 2017 Formula 1 Rolex British Grand Prix will be covered through Snapchat's "Our Stories".
Snapchat has over 166 million daily active users globally, who take over 3 billion "snaps" every day with their cameras, Formula 1 said.
