Qualcomm: increase in non-GAAP Q2 results.

(CercleFinance.com) - Qualcomm, the American smartphone chip specialist posted non-GAAP Q2 results that were up on Wednesday, boosted by growth of its QTL license and semi-conductor (QCT) divisions.


Revenues rose 8% to 6 billion dollars in Q2 in non-GAAP terms, the group said in a statement. Net income rose 28% to 2.0 billion dollars, with diluted earnings per share of 1.34 dollar, versus 1.04 dollar for the same period a year earlier.

In addition, Qualcomm said that Apple's subcontractors had "underpaid" royalties due in the second quarter.
