Procter & Gamble: Q2 2022-23 EPS up 3%
(CercleFinance.com) - Procter & Gamble - owner of the Ariel, Duracell and Pampers brands, amongst others - has reported Q3 2022-23 adjusted EPS that is up 3% to $1.
37, on sales of $20.1bn, with organic growth of 7%.
The consumer staples group said this organic sales growth was driven by a 10% increase in its prices, which was only partially offset by a 3% decline in shipment volumes.
P&G has raised its forecast for FY 2022-23 organic revenue growth to around 6%, topping a previous target range of 4%-5%, although it expects EPS to rise towards the lower end of its target range, which remains at 0-4%.
