P&G: EPA approves Covid-19 disinfectant spray

(CercleFinance.com) - The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved Microban 24 Disinfectant Spray as effective in removing SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19, from surfaces.


Microban 24 Spray has been tested by a third party laboratory in accordance with EPA testing guidelines and has been shown to destroy SARS-CoV-2 in 60 seconds.

In addition to removing the virus that causes Covid-19, Microban 24 is approved to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including viruses that cause colds and flu.

Microban 24 Disinfectant Spray was launched in February to provide consumers with a disinfectant product that offers protection against bacteria for up to 24 hours, P&G said.
