Pfizer: beats consensus in Q3

(CercleFinance.com) - Pfizer has announced Q3 adjusted net income that is up 15% at nearly 4.
7 billion dollars, or 78 cents per share, with EPS three cents above the consensus.

The pharmaceutical giant's sales rose 1% to 13.3 billion dollars. In operating terms, revenues were up 2%, with the 5% growth of the innovative health division having offset the 4% decline at the essential health division.

On this release, Pfizer has tightened its annual adjusted EPS target range to between 2.98 dollars and 3.02 dollars from 2.95 to 3.05 dollars previously, with revenues in a range of 53 billion to 53.7 billion dollars, against 53 billion to 55 billion dollars previously.
