Pfizer: positive results for pediatric epilepsy drug

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Pfizer announced positive top-line results of a Phase 3 study examining the use of Lyrica as adjunctive therapy for partial onset seizures in pediatric epilepsy patients.


Pfizer also unveiled new data from its diversified portfolio of marketed and investigational oncology medicines to be presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in Chicago between 1 and 5 June.

However, these announcements failed to lift the pharmaceutical giant's share, which was down almost 0.1% at 35.7 dollars in early trading on Wall Street.
