Pfizer: raises FY EPS target.

(CercleFinance.com) - Unveiled on Tuesday before the opening of Wall Street, Pfizer's Q3 results were marked by EPS of 47 cents, up 25 cents year-on-year.


Excluding extraordinary items, the US pharmaceutical giant's EPS reached 67 cents, 2 cents above the consensus.

Meanwhile, sales rose in line with the consensus to 13.17 billion dollars, up from 13.05 billion dollars in Q3 last year.

Confident, the group has raised its FY earnings estimate and now expects EPS of between 2.58 dollars and 2.62 dollars, against a previous target range of 2.54 dollars to 2.6. Revenues are expected between to reach between 52.4 billion and 53.1 billion dollars, against a previous range of 52 billion to 54 billion dollars.
