PepsiCo: launches pep+ REnew with Schneider Electric

(CercleFinance.com) - PepsiCo has announced the launch of pep+ REnew, its collaboration with Schneider Electric to accelerate the adoption of renewable electricity and create a more resilient, low-carbon food system as part of PepsiCo's pep+ (PepsiCo Positive) transformation.


In particular, Pep+ REnew is designed around two objectives: educating PepsiCo's value chain partners on their renewable electricity choices and accelerating the transition to renewable electricity through power purchase agreements (PPAs) and other renewable electricity procurement options.

This program has been launched to help overcome the challenges many SMEs face when trying to participate in the renewable electricity market: some organisations may need training or advice on the specific mechanics of renewable electricity transactions.
