Oracle: beats consensus in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday night Oracle unveiled Q2 2018-19 adjusted EPS (non-GAAP) that is up 16% at 80 cents, while the consensus expected only 78 cents, despite adjusted operating profit that was down 2 % to 4.
1 billion dollars.

The multinational computer technology corporation's revenue was stable at 9.6 billion dollars (+2% in local currencies). The US group boasts almost 6,000 client accounts for Fusion Cloud ERP and more than 16,000 for NetSuite Cloud ERP.

"Free cash flow grew 10% to $13.8 billion over the previous twelve months," said company boss, Safra Catz, who added, "I am confident that we will continue to record strong EPS and free cash flow growth during the second half of this fiscal year."
