Oracle: takes over Aconex

(CercleFinance.com) - Oracle announced on Monday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Aconex Limited, an Australian company offering a cloud-based solution to manage team collaboration on construction projects.


The transaction, valued at 7.8 Australian dollars per share in cash, is worth approximately 1.2 billion Australian dollars, net of Aconex's cash. It is set to be finalised in the first half of 2018.

The US corporate software giant points out that Aconex's solution has already been used in projects totaling over 1 trillion dollars, across 70,000 user organizations in over 70 countries.
