Nvidia: Q3 net income halved

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday night Nvidia reported Q3 adjusted net income (non-GAAP) that was halved to 1.
46 billion dollars, or 58 cents per share, along with adjusted operating profit that fell 55% to 1.54 billion dollars.

The programmable graphics processor supplier's adjusted gross margin fell 10.9% to 56.1%, with the company reporting a 17% decline in revenue to 5.93 billion dollars, led by the company's gaming and professional visualisation businesses.

Regarding its outlook for the current quarter, Nvidia expects revenue of 6 billion dollars, give or take 2%, along with an adjusted gross margin of 66%, give or take 50 bp.
