Nvidia: Q2 EPS exceeds expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday night Nvidia unveiled Q2 2019-20 adjusted net income (non-GAAP) that is down 37% at 762 million dollars, i.
e. 1.24 dollar per share. Even though lower, EPS nevertheless beat the consensus by ten cents.
The graphic processing unit designer suffered from a 17% decrease in revenues, which reached 2.58 billion dollars, with a 3.4-point decline in adjusted gross margin to 60.1 %.
For the current quarter, Nvidia expects revenues of 2.90 billion dollars (plus or minus 2%), and an adjusted gross margin of 62.5% (plus or minus 50 bp).
