Nike: Q3 EPS above estimates
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening Nike posted Q3 2018-19 net income of 1.
1 billion dollars, or EPS of 68 cents, four cents higher than the consensus. The Beaverton, Oregon-based sports goods supplier saw its gross margin improve by 130 basis points to 45.1%, for sales that are up 7% at 9.6 billion dollars (+11% at constant exchange rates). CFO Andy Campion said that the group will continue to invest in key capacities to support Nike's digital transformation and fuel strong profitable growth in the coming year and beyond.
