Nike: 11 percent increase in quarterly dividend.

(CercleFinance.com) - Nike said on Thursday that it will pay a quarterly cash dividend of 20 cents a share, up 11% versus the previous quarter's dividend rate of 18 cents.


This is the sixteenth straight year that the Oregon-based maker of athletic footwear and clothing has boosted payout for shareholders.

"Today's announcement, combined with the four-year 12 billion dollars share repurchase program we announced in 2015, demonstrates our continued confidence in generating strong cash flow," CEO Mark Parker said.
