Moderna: to present abstracts on cancer vaccine

(CercleFinance.com) - Moderna has announced that two abstracts for mRNA-4157 (V940), an individualised mRNA-based neoantigen therapy (i.
e. a personalised cancer vaccine), have been accepted for presentation at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meeting in Chicago, held from 2 to 6 June.

mRNA-4157 (V940) is being jointly developed by Moderna and Merck, known as MSD outside the US and Canada.

The two abstracts focus respectively on recurrence-free survival in resected patients with high-risk melanoma treated with mRNA-4157/V940 and pembrolizumab; and distant metastasis-free survival results from the randomised phase 2 mRNA-4157-P201/KEYNOTE-942 trial in melanoma and skin cancers.
