Moderna: Q1 EPS triples

(CercleFinance.com) - Moderna has reported Q1 2022 net profit that has more than tripled to 3.
7 billion dollars, tripling its EPS to 8.58 dollars, on sales that soared 220% to 6.1 billion dollars.

The mRNA biotech company generated 5.9 billion dollars in revenue from the sale of its Covid-19 vaccine, compared to 1.7 billion dollars in Q1 2021.

Moderna confirms that it has signed advanced purchase agreements of approximately 21 billion dollars for 2022, and expects to have four programs in late-stage Phase III trials in Q2.
