Microsoft: is the Surface Duo about to be launched?

(CercleFinance.com) - According to the US media Windows Central, the Surface Duo has very recently obtained its FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification, which could confirm that the US tech giant's first Android smartphone will be launched very soon.


Indeed, there has been a string of rumours in the market regarding the device this summer. Note that the Surface Duo will be a dual-screen, productivity-oriented smartphone.

If it were to be released this summer - although Microsoft first mentioned that it would be available at the end of the year - it would probably be to avoid the device suffering too much from a comparison with the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, which is due to be introduced in August.
