Microsoft: develops cloud offers in Norway

(CercleFinance.com) - Microsoft announced on Wednesday that it has increased in its cloud investments in Europe by offering its cloud services from two data center regions in in Stavanger and Olso in Norway.


The IT giant will deliver enterprise-class performance and reliability in both these areas. Microsoft will first make Azure available by the end of 2019, followed by Office 365 and Dynamics 365.

It said that the energy group Equinor (formerly Statoil) has chosen Microsoft Cloud in Norway for its digital transformation, as part of a strategic partnership worth several hundreds of millions of dollars.
