Merck: to present new data at cancer congress

(CercleFinance.com) - Merck said that it plans to present new data concerning its immunotherapy drug Keytruda at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) congress, which is being held at the end of the month in Barcelona.


The US drugmaker's data will span more than 15 types of cancer, including first-time results in triple-negative breast cancer.

Merck said it also plans to disclose Lynparza data in prostate cancer and in ovarian cancer.

The company also aims to first present the final results of the endometrial cohort from the Phase 1b/2 trial evaluating Keytruda plus Lenvima in patients with advanced endometrial carcinoma.

In all, over 80 abstracts involving Merck cancer medicines and investigational candidates will be presented at the congress, spanning over 18 types of tumor.
