Mastercard: to open center to combat cybercrime

(CercleFinance.com) - Mastercard announces the development of its first European Cyber-Resilience Center.

This physical and cyber security center will promote cooperation between the public and private sectors, along with regulatory bodies, to improve the group's resilience on the continent.

This center is the first investment of its kind made by the group outside North America.

The European Mastercard Cyber ​​Resilience Center will work with several national cyber watch centers, as well as industrial groups, law enforcement agencies and central banks from across Europe (ECB, ECCFI, Europol, FS-ISAC, Interpol, NBB and the British NCA and NCSC centres) to prevent and fight against international cybercrime and threats to security in general, the group said.
