Lowe's: names ex-Walmart executive at supply chain

(CercleFinance.com) - US home improvement chain Lowe's named on Tuesday a former executive at retail giant Walmart to be its executive vice president in charge of supply chain.


In his new role, effective immediately, Donald Frieson will be responsible for the company's distribution centers, logistics, global sourcing, transportation and delivery services.

Frieson will report to CEO Marvin Ellison, it said.

He most recently served as chief operating officer at Sam's Club, a division of Walmart.
