Lockheed Martin: first success with DEIMOS system
(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin has announced that it has achieved first light on the Directed Energy Interceptor for Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense System (DEIMOS), a robust tactical laser weapon system that can be integrated with the Stryker combat vehicle to provide a robust directed energy capability for short-range air defense (M-SHORAD).
