Lennar: Q4 net profit up 31%

(CercleFinance.com) - Lennar Corp has reported a 31% increase in net income to 882.
8 million dollars (2.82 dollars per share), for Q4 2020-21, well above the consensus.

The homebuilder reported a 2% decline in revenue to 6.8 billion dollars, but saw new orders rise 22% to 6.3 billion dollars, bringing its backlog to 7.8 billion dollars.

With an excellent balance sheet and continued execution of its core operating strategies, the group says that it is extremely well positioned for an even stronger 2021 as the year progresses.
