Estée Lauder: raises FY 2018-19 targets
(CercleFinance.com) - For fiscal year 2018-19, Estée Lauder now says that it is expecting adjusted EPS of between 4.
92 dollars and 5 dollars (compared to 4.73 dollars to 4.82 dollars previously) for expected sales growth of between 5% and 6%.
For Q2 2018-19, the cosmetics and fragrances group posted adjusted earnings that are up 22% (+25% at constant exchange rates) at 1.86 dollar per share, i.e. EPS that is about 30 cents above the consensus.
The group saw its sales increase 7% to 4 billion dollars (+9% excluding FX factors and other specific items), growth that has been especially boosted by its skin care activities.
