Kraft Heinz: 29-year old financier David Knopf named CFO.

(CercleFinance.com) - Kraft Heinz said on Friday that David Knopf, 29, has been appointed as executive vice president and chief financial officer.


He joined Kraft Heinz in July 2015 in connection with the merger of Kraft Foods and Heinz after holding various roles at private equity firm 3G Capital from 2013 to 2015, where he worked on several large acquisitions.

Prior to this he worked at Goldman Sachs.

Kraft Heinz also said that Paulo Basilio, 42, the current chief financial officer, has been named as zone president of the United States, where he will be responsible for all facets of the business.

This means that George Zoghbi, currently chief operating officer of the US business, will transition to a role as strategic advisor going forward.
