Kraft Heinz: beats consensus and raises dividend.

(CercleFinance.com) - When Kraft Heinz published quarterly adjusted EPS that is up 15.
3% at 0.98 dollar, it announced that its board of directors has raised the group's quarterly dividend by 4.2% to 0.625 dollar per share, two cents above the consensus.

Over Q2, the agri-food group increased its operating profit by 17.5% to 1.92 billion dollars, on net sales that are down 1.7% to 6.68 billion dollars (-0.9% in organic terms).

"As expected, our second quarter results were sequentially better than our first quarter, and we expect this momentum to continue into the second half of the year," said Kraft Heinz CEO Bernardo Hees.
