KKR: completes tender offer for Hitachi Transport

(CercleFinance.com) - KKR today announced that its tender offer for the common stock of Hitachi Transport System (HTS) closed yesterday, 29 November 2022.


The cash tender offer was made through HTSK, a special purpose vehicle owned by investment funds managed by KKR.

Approximately 51.11% of the common shares were tendered and will be acquired by the bidder. Settlement of the tender offer will commence on 6 December 2022.

HTS will be renamed LOGISTEED from 1 April 2023, a name that combines LOGISTICS with Exceed, Proceed, Succeed and Speed, to represent the company's commitment to being a leading global 3PL provider for its customers and business partners.
