KKR: EU clears acquisition of Hitachi Transport System

(CercleFinance.com) - Under EU Merger Regulations the European Commission has cleared KKR's acquisition of Hitachi Transport System of Japan.


Hitachi Transport System is active in the provision of general contract logistics services and freight forwarding services.

The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not give rise to any competition concerns, given the lack of overlap between the companies' activities.
