IBM: 9m earnings down 19% (including divestments)

(CercleFinance.com) - Big Blue's Q3 revenue reached 17.
6 billion dollars, up 0.3% (down 0.2% including divested businesses and FX factors).

9m revenues were 54.1 billion dollars (to end-September 2021), up 1.6% year-on-year (down 1% including divested businesses and FX factors) compared to 53.3 billion dollars over the first nine months of 2020.

Net profit was 3.4 billion dollars, down 19%, reflecting the impact of 0.7 billion in transaction costs relating to the disposal of Kyndryl. Meanwhile, diluted EPS was 3.77 dollars, down 20% from 4.72 dollars per diluted share in the same period of 2020.

IBM ended Q3 with free cash of 8.4 billion dollars (including marketable securities), down 5.9 billion dollars from end-2020.
