IBM: partners with Palantir on AI, cloud

(CercleFinance.com) - Computing and tech services giant IBM is teaming up with Silicon Valley software firm Palantir to help businesses deploy AI applications and analyze their vast amounts of data, the companies said on Monday.


The new product - based on Palantir's Foundry tool and IBM's AI platform Watson - will target sectors such as retail, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare and telecommunications, they said.

The offer, named Palantir for IBM Cloud Pak for Data, is set for marketing in March.
