IBM: Q3 just above consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday evening, IBM unveiled Q3 2018 net operating profit (non-GAAP) of 3.
1 billion dollars, meaning EPS of 3.42 dollars per share, two cent above the consensus.

The IT giant's revenues fell 2% to 18.8 billion dollars (stable excluding FX factors), despite the strength of its "strategic imperatives," with revenues over the last twelve months up 13% (including +20% for the cloud).

On the strength of this performance, the Armonk based group (State of New York) has confirmed its FY 2018 targets, with operating EPS of at least 13.80 dollars, as well as a free cash flow of around 12 billion dollars.
