IBM: maintains 2018 earnings estimates

(CercleFinance.com) - IBM on Tuesday forecast 2018 earnings that are in line with Wall Street expectations, with this failing to boost its shares.


The day before a meeting with investors and analysts, the IT consulting giant has reiterated its expectations for operating (non-GAAP) EPS in 2018.

The company said it still expects operating EPS to be at least 13.80 dollars FY 2018, while Wall Street analysts expect an average of 13.80 dollars.

IBM already provided these expectations on its Q4 earnings announcement in January.

The IBM share is currently trading 0.4% lower at 156.7 dollars.
