IBM: launches cloud platform for insurers.

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday IBM introduced a cloud platform that is specifically designed for insurers, aiming to improve new product development, underwriting and benefits delivery.


Built in collaboration with the top insurers MetLife and Majesco, the IBM insurance platform will feature cognitive computing, data analytics and integration and security capabilities.

The platform will also leverage other advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, the tech giant said.

IBM has said that it works with 95% of the world's top insurers.
