IBM: string of announcements with Interconnect.

(CercleFinance.com) - IBM has made many announcements this Monday at the opening of InterConnect, its annual conference to be held in Las Vegas until Thursday.


The US IT giant this morning announced its intention to expand its partnership in online data storage with NetApp.

IBM also announced that it plans to upgrade its offer in this area by launching a new "cloud" range called "Flex", which includes a pay-as-you-use model.

The group has also mentioned its intention to collaborate with SecureKey Technologies to develop new technologies in the field of "blockchain", an organizational system that eliminates a central control body.

Finally, IBM said it will add new features in data analysis and computation to Watson, its artificial intelligence system, which it now intends to open to developers.
