Intel: launches new chips for AI, gaming, and PC

(CercleFinance.com) - Chipmaker Intel has unveiled new platforms for PC, its legacy market, as well as devices for growth segments, such as artificial intelligence, 5G and autonomous driving.


On the eve of CES 2019 in Las Vegas, several Intel leaders took to the stage on Monday to showcase the company's new technology.

The presentations included the latest Xeon Scalable products, shipping today with AI and memory capabilities, as well as the new mobile PC platform "Ice Lake," which offers better graphics performance for gaming and content creation.

The data-driven market - which includes AI, 5G and autonomous driving - is estimated to be worth around 300 billion dollars.
