Halliburton: Q3 just above consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - Halliburton has reported Q3 earnings from continued operations of 435 million dollars, or 50 cents per share, with EPS that is down 14% relative to the previous quarter, although one cent higher than the consensus.


Again in sequential terms, the oil services group saw its operating profit fall by 9% to 716 million dollars for revenues that overall are stable at 6.2 billion dollars, due to reduced demand for completion services in North America.

"...the catalysts for improving demand for services are clearly visible," said President and CEO Jeff Miller, who in particular underlines expanding offtake capacity and reloaded customer budgets.
