Goldman Sachs: excellent Q3 results

(CercleFinance.com) - Goldman Sachs' third quarter results, which were published today, are expected to boost the banking giant's share price in New York today.


Indeed, before Wall Street opens, Goldman Sachs reported EPS of 6.28 dollars over the period, up 1.26 dollar over one year. This is all the more impressive because the consensus was looking for EPS to increase much less to 5.39 dollars.

Meanwhile, revenues reached close to 8.65 billion dollars, up 4% relative to Q3 2017. Over the first 9 months of the year, revenues came in at 28.08 billion dollars, again up 16% from the same period in 2017.
