GE: 2nd order for gas turbine in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - GE has announced that it has received a second order for its H-class gas turbine technology from Eneva, the largest private natural gas operator in Brazil.


With over 75% of its installed capacity coming from renewables in Brazil, the new plant will provide up to 590 megawatts (MW) to enable reliable grid stability and support further growth in renewables.

The new power plant, consisting of a 7HA.02 gas turbine, STF-A650 steam turbine, H65 and H53 generators, and a triple reheat heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), is expected to come onstream in 2027.
